Osage County Industrial Authority, Friends of Fairfax, and the Ralston Foundation are hosting "Elements of a Tourism Business Plan."
We are working with financial folks to assist them in making loans for small businesses interested in the tourism industry. The first step is to have a great business plan.
We are looking for tiny businesses, such as those needing only art supplies or a professional sewing machine, and any business that will work with the Big Hill Art Gallery scheduled to open in late October in Fairfax.
Additionally, any business idea that can provide goods or services to the tourism industry and occupy the building in Fairfax is of particular interest. However, any business idea to serve the tourism industry is welcome to attend.
The workshop will be from 10 am to 3 pm at 1225 Virginia Short Street in Pawhuska on August 18th.
Pre-register by August 16th, as space is limited.
